The ALS Residences seek to find generous donor(s) to establish an 8-figure endowment ($12-$14M) to immediately open a 10 person ALS Residence within the Leonard Florence Center for Living.
Further, The ALS Residences hope to inspire other mission driven non-profit nursing homes to build homes for people with ALS (pALS) that are residential and provide 24 hour skilled care that is as compassionate and consistent as your own family within an environment that is fully automated and prepared to provide vent support to allow pALS and people who are similarly disabled to live with their disability instead of die of it. Until medicine proves otherwise, technology IS the cure. |
